Liverpool has agreed on a club record fee to sign Guinean offensive midfielder Naby Keita from RB Leipzig next year July 2018.
The fee will be a record for Liverpool as it stands and will surpass the £35m paid to Newcastle for Andy Carroll in 2011.
Liverpool agreed on to pay a premium on top of the midfielder’s £48m release clause, which comes into effect once this season is over, Football Sierra Leone understands.
Having qualified for the Champions League last Wednesday, The Reds are hopeful of acquiring another deal for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, and if this goes through it will eclipse the figures involved for Keita.

The former Seattle Sounders youngster joined the Swedish outfit on a one-half-deal this month and was granted work permit last week.
Mansaray, who was introduced in 58 minutes replacing Mikael Wikström, was expelled five minutes later but Umeå was resilient enough as they managed a 3-1 win over Sollentuna.

Sierra Leone international Aziz Deen-Conteh in action had mixed emotions after his Dover Athletic debut ended in 1-0 National League defeat away to Macclesfield Town on Friday night.
Deen-Conteh returned from his seven months long wait searching a new club following his last outing in Georgia with FC Zugdidi in 2016.
The Chelsea Academy graduate, who signed a new deal with the Whites a few days ago, was introduced by the Whites manager Chris Kinnear in the 78th minutes replacing defender Manny Parry.
“Happy to have made my debut, but was very disappointed with the result, I thought we deserved more,” Deen Conteh told Footballsierraleone.net.
“Looking forward to the season, can’t wait to get more minutes on the field and helping the team push for promotion this season as that is our aim.
Dover are still winless at The Moss Rose since their return to the National League.
Macclesfield’s striker Tyrone Marsh headed in Elliott Durrell’s cross in the 50th minutes as Athletic suffered their first away defeat of the season.
The defeat sees Dover stay in fifth spot on the ladder, with the rest of this round of National League fixtures due on Saturday.

Sierra Leone-born and Watford City midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah have been named for the first time in the senior England squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovakia early next month.
This means Chalobah, 22, first England call up will now finally end any hopes of him ever playing for Sierra Leone his country of birth.
It’s no surprise as Gareth Southgate thinks the Chelsea Academy product could provide the additional quality to the centre of his side.
Chalobah will be part of Southgate’s 28-man squad for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Malta on 1 September and Slovakia three days later.
A piece of disappointing news for Sierra Leone soccer fans who were expecting that one day, Chalobah will don the Sierra Leone national colours.

English defending champions Chelsea have handed Kenneth Omeruo pictured a new contract.
Omeruo has signed a new contract until 2020 and joined Turkish side Kasimpasa on a season-long loan.
He has also moved to Turkish side Kasimpasa on a season-long loan for a second time after spending the 2015-16 season with them where he made 26 appearances.
The 23-year-old, who is yet to play for Chelsea, also spent last season on loan in Turkey at Alanyaspor.
Omeruo helped the Super Eagles win the 2013 African Cup of Nations he also played at the 2014 World Cup.
