English League One side Chesterfield have signed Queens Park Rangers defender Osman Kakay on a short-term deal.
The teenage right-back hailing from Sierra Leone and Nigerian parents arrived on loan from QPR and will remain at the Proact until April 30.
The youngster told club’s website: “I’m really happy to be here to be able to play some games,” he said. “It was a bit of a last minute thing.
“I had a game yesterday with the QPR U23s and I was told after that I needed to come to Chesterfield.
“I needed to go out on loan, I would have played anywhere but I feel like this is a very good move for me to come to League One and play for Chesterfield.”
He made his debut in QPR’s 2-1 victory over Rochdale in the EFL Cup tie in August 2016.
His first professional debut was in the Scottish Championship in January during a loan spell with Scottish side Livingston.
In Scotland, he played 12 times last season for Livingston.

Mohamed Buya Turay (Pictured) who recently signed a new deal, keeping him at AFC Eskilstuna until 2019 is looking forward to first pre-season friendly, as preparations for the new campaign step up on Tuesday.
The Sierra Leone youngster has been working hard ahead of the new Allsvenskan season.
Buya and his newly promoted side are in Barcelona Spain as AFC Eskilstuna set to take on another Swedish side IF Elfsborg in tomorrow’s pre-season friendly at the Exportui football complex.
Buya says it will be a good opportunity to work on the tactics and structure of the team.
“We’re in Spain for our first pre-season contest,” he said.
“This match it’s important just to play. Of course, it’s not a game of big importance, but it’s a chance to see the tactics and the structure of the team,” Buya told footballsierraleone.net
AFC Eskilstuna will kick off their 2017-2018 campaign with a visit to GIF Sundsvall on 2 April but the man who registered 10 Superettan goals in 29 appearances last season recognized the task ahead.
“It’s obviously going to be a new challenge for me and the team, but we all looking forward to getting started.”

- FC Johansen suffered a 2-1 defeat in Liberia to Barracks Young Controllers (BYC) in their friendly test on Sunday ahead of their 2017 doubleheader in the CAF Champions League preliminary round
- Club Johansen was drawn to face Moroccan side Fath Union Sport de Rabat (FUS Rabat)
The Sierra Leone 2016 FA Cup Champions FC Johansen and the Liberian Champions are preparing for their upcoming 53rd edition Total CAF Champions League matches next month.
George Mata gave the visitors an early lead as he opened the scoring within the opening sixteen minutes.
Mark Paye of BYC converted a free ball into an empty net to level the scores 1-1 before Kateo Anderson converted a spot-kick in the 47′ minutes to made sure of the victory.
FC Johansen will play their second friendly on Tuesday against Liberian CAF Confederation representative Club Brewery, before heading home to take on FUS Rabat on the 11th February 2017 at the Siaka Steven Stadium and the return tie the following week in Morocco.
BYC boss Copper M. Sannah said: “It was a good performance from both teams. The friendly is an added value towards our preparation for the CAF Competition.” He also commended the performance of his opponent.
“They (FC Johansen) is a very good team with a better system; the match was a good education for both teams and from what I have learned I will educate my players in details.”
FC Johansen boss John Keister said: “We were vulnerable in few areas on the pitch but we are not disappointed in fact, such a friendly match is vital for my team ahead of the CAF competition.
“We have taken into consideration our mistakes and the work is going to continue”

Both plying their trade in the English Premier League and Championship Andre and Jordan Ayew scored as Ghana progressed to the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Although the Black Stars were very poor in the first half, however, Avram Grant’s side came out firing in the second half.
Ghana took the lead when Jordan Ayew brilliantly overruns his marker before producing a really composed finish.
Paul-Jose Mpoku leveled proceedings with a sensational strike from the edge of the area, with goalkeeper Ley Matampi busting out his trademark celebration.
But the Ghanaians were back in front after West Ham’s Andre calmly dispatched the penalty that sent Ghana through to face Cameroon in the semi-final on Thursday.

Frenchman Michel Dussuyer has resigned as coach of Ivory Coast, just days after the reigning champions crashed out of African Nations Cup 2017 in Gabon.
The federation’s statement praised Dussuyer’s “professionalism, commitment and human quality”, adding that “the appropriate measures will be put in place to find his successor”
Ivory Coast was eliminated from the Nations Cup following a 1-0 defeat to Morocco, the current holders ended third behind DR Congo and Morocco from Group C.
The 57-year-old is the second coaching casualty of the tournament in Gabon after Algeria coach Georges Leekens quit following his side’s surprise first round elimination.
