Sierra Leone international, Mustapha Dumbuya reckons Partick Thistle will overcome their relegation battle because they have a resilient squad to do so.
The club now just one point above the drop zone following a 2-1 loss to fellow stragglers Dundee.
His Scottish Premiership side in a competitive relegation battle with five teams with eleven matches remaining in the season.
The right-wing-back acknowledges that avoiding relegation is the primary objective for the Maryhill side.
“A massive game against Hamilton F.C tomorrow,” the former Notts County defender noted.
Dumbuya to Football Sierra Leone added, “It’s not an easy place to go and get points; we got to be resilient for sure, I’m sure if we do that we can get something out the game.”
“We are in a difficult period at the moment but I’m sure we can climb up the table with the squad here.”
Dumbuya, who was in the Jags squad on Saturday, when they were dramatically defeated by Dundee at home, is also pleased with his recovery.
He recently returned from a long injury lay-off.
“Just feels great to be back training and helping the team, feeling better and better every day now, getting fitter and stronger.”

Free agent Sierra Leone international Mohamed ‘Poborsky’ Bangura, is expected to play in a friendly game for Swedish side Piteå IF against Luleå SK today.
Bangura, who was spotted in training with the club confirmed he was only on a visit to a brother Samuel Kamara (Kobo) the coach of the club and was asked to train with them.
The club posted a video (below) of the former Celtic and AIK striker, who is at present without a club doing some light one touch exercises with their squad.
Bangura, 28, last played for newly promoted Swedish Allsvenskan league side Dalkurd FF.
“I trained with them for two days and I will play one friendly match, maybe for 45 min to help the young players before I return back, Bangura to www.footballsierraleone.net.
“I’m here on a visit to my brother Kobo the coach of Piteå, who ask if I wanted to train with them whiles am here instead of just being in the gym at least I can give some experience to the lads,”

Sierra Leone International Sheka Fofanah scored on his CAF Champions League debut for Sudanese top-tier side and 2015 African Champions League semi-finalists Al Merreikh of Sudan, but his goal was not enough as the Botswana side qualified 4-2 on aggregate.
The jam-packed Khartoum stadium was treated to a very entertaining encounter.
Township Rollers are through to the next phase of the competition despite losing 2-1 on Wednesday evening at the Al-Merreikh Stadium, Omdurman.
The visitors, having won their first leg home tie 3-0 in Gaborone last February 10th, took the early lead from Joel Mogorosi, who scored from a header of a corner kick in the 4th minutes.
Fofanah, 20, who bagged his first two-goals for Al-Merrikh against Wad Hashim Sennars in the Sudanese league on Thursday, levelled the scoreline in the 20th minutes with a superb strike chipping the visiting keeper from outside the box.
Ahmed Hamed gave the host the lead in the 82nd minute’s from a direct free kick outside the 18-yard box after a difficult period in a tight contest.
However, the visitors will roll out of Khartoum town with their heads up high after eliminating the fifth best team in Africa.
The Botswana league leaders will take on Dar es Salaam-based club Young Africans in the first round proper of this year’s competition.

Former East End Lions attacker Foday Conteh opened his account for Finish third-tier side Vasa IFK in their 2-1 pre-season victory over Narpes Kraft FF on Saturday.
Goals from Foday Conteh and Junior Oyono helped the Vasa-based club overcoming their host.
The 23-year-old, who recently signed a two-year deal, has confirmed that he is looking forward to the new Finnish Kakkonen campaign with his new side.
“I’m very excited despite was friendly, but because this is a big club and it is a great opportunity to play for them, Conteh told footballsierraleone.net.
“A well-known club in Finland and they have a history of building young players that one thing that inspired me to join them.”
“They’re a well-organised side, and all our work will be towards promotion, hopefully for me, this will be a very good turning point in my career.”
“I looking forward to the start of a new season to be part of a successful IFK,” the attacking player added.
The promising attacking midfielder last played for FC Jaro following his moved from Lupa Virkia.
His preferred position is left midfield, but he can also operate on either flank and has been noted for his versatility in Finland.

Belgian technician Paul Put has resigned as the head coach of the Harambee Stars citing “personal reasons”, the Kenya Football Federation have confirmed.
Put, 61, was appointed to a two-year deal in November replacing local technician Stanley Okumbi. – Kenya appoint Paul Put as new coach
Kenya’s Federation said in a statement that Paul Put’s resignation is “a setback to the country’s ongoing 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign.”
“Football Kenya Federation wishes to inform the general public that Mr Paul Put has officially resigned as the Kenya National Football Team, Harambee Stars Head Coach, citing personal reasons.
Sierra Leone defeated Kenya 2-1 in their opening Group F 2019 Africa Cup of Nations first leg qualifying tie in Freetown in June.
They are scheduled to face the group’s leaders Ghana in Nairobi in September while Ethiopia host Sierra Leone
Local coach Stanley Okumbi, who was in charge of the Harambee Stars in Freetown, takes over as interim coach.
The federation also announced they have already begun the process of finding a replacement for Put.
Under his tenure, Burkina Faso finished as runners-up in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, losing to Nigeria in the final.
