Sierra Leone striker Alhaji Kamara continues with his fine form helping his Danish side Randers to a 2-1 victory over Romanian CFR Cluj at their Cepheus Park Randers.

Kamara, 27, scored his second in the competition and Rangers first of the day with a right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner assisted by Mikkel Kallesøe.

The visitors (CFR Cluj) draw parity from Ciprian Ioan Deac header from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner, assisted by Mateo Susic with a cross.

Randers winner came in the 76th-minute through Simon Piesinger (Randers FC) from a free-kick with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner.

Dutch side AZ Alkmaar had already won the group in 1st place with 11 points, followed by Randers on 7 points in 2nd place, while Czech FK Jablonec takes 3rd place with 6 points. CFR Cluj is last with 1 point. 

Before the tie, Randers was undefeated in this year’s group game. The win was their first in Group D. They will play the last group game on December 9 at 18.45 away against Dutch AZ Alkmaar. 

At the AFAS stadium, it is going to be an exciting last game between AZ and visitors Randers in the last round of the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage.

ÖSK will host Kalmar FF in a must-win clash as they fight to avoid relegation. The former Chelsea youth defender is recalled by boss Marcus Lantz, with Ahmed Yasin is in the squad for the first time since returning to ÖSK.

The Sierra Leone defender returns after missing five league games through a hamstring injury. He was forced off in the fifth minute in Orebro SK 2-1 defeats October 3rd to Häcken after he suffered a hamstring at their Behrn Arena stadium.

He missed Sierra Leone friendly matches against South Sudan, the Gambia and Morocco on the 6th, 9th and 12th October, respectively, in Casablanca Morroco and Turkey against Comoros.

Sierra Leone defender Alie Sesay says he was happy with the way they performed against Madura United in their last league win. 

Persebaya deservedly defeated Madura United 1-0 in a tough League One, BRI Liga 1 at the Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman on Saturday. 

Brazilian Jose Wilkson Teixeira Rocha only goal proved the difference between the two sides, with the Leone Stars defender playing the full throttle of the game.

The 27-year-old says the win was a professional team performance. Madura United was a good value for the victory. 

“We knew that it was going to be a difficult game, but our mentality and composure gave us the edge over them,” Sesay to FSL Sport.

“As a team, we played against a tough side, but we maintained our disciplined. It was a case of us riding the storm and protecting our lead for almost 40-minutes.”

Madura United coach Fabio Lefundes has said the match against Persebaya was not an easy match considering the opponents they faced were quite good opponents and had quality.

Since joining the team, Sesay has made nine appearances helping the team to six wins, two draws and a defeat.

Sesay, a former Leicester academy graduate, was named in the Indonesia top-tier Team of the Week after another superb performance.
