The french-based goalkeeper has announced his retirement from international after eight years of service.
The former Quevilly keeper won 23 caps in eight years representing his country on the international stage.
His first national call-up was for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Tunisia.
“I will never forget the SLFA officials, the loyal fans of Leone Stars, who without a doubt, supported me under difficult circumstances.”
“There are very few national teams in the World that have fans as passionate and devoted as you are,” Morris noted in a letter to the SLFA.
He told FSL News, “I am grateful to the Sierra Leoneans fans during all difficult times. I’m sorry if this might not be the right time for some of my fans. I think this is the right time for me to make way for the younger players.”
Morris last match was the close door 1-1 draw in the 2022 African Cup of Nations tie against Lesotho in Freetown November 2019.

Sierra Leone international John Kamara’s Azerbaijan side Kesla FK must overcome their Albanian counterpart in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, 27th, August to progress.
Keshla FK will host Laçi at their Shafa Stadium in Baku after ending last season as the third-best side in the Azerbaijan top-tier.
Due to Covid-19, all qualifying matches to be decided in one leg.
Kamara played a vital role to helped the two-time Azerbaijan champions to a third place in finish last season to compete in the UEFA Europa League.
The former Riga and Kaysar defensive midfielder since joining the club in January 2019 has played 33 matches in all competitions helping his Azerbaijan top-tier outfit to a Europa League spot for next season.
KF Laçi’s first-ever European game was played on 1 July 2010 at the Stadium Niko Dovana in Durres.
They played Dnepr Mogilev of Belarus in the Europa League 1st qualifying round and there debut match finished 1–1.
Laci was thrashed in Belarus 7-1 in the return fixture 8-1 on aggregate.
In 2007–08 season after g=finishing first, they qualified for its first-ever appearance in the UEFA Champions League in 2008 and advanced to the second qualifying round by defeating Rabotnički of the Republic of Macedonia on away goals.
In 2012, the club recorded an Azerbaijani record for the biggest win in European competition by beating Narva Trans 5–0 in Estonia.
The 2020–21 UEFA Europa League qualifying phase and play-off round already started and will end on 1 October 2020.
Last season they were eliminated by Israeli side Hapoel Be’er Sheva 2-1 on aggregate.

Sierra Leone-born and England Under-21 international has joined French Ligue One Lorient on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea FC.
The Chelsea player was unveiled on Tuesday by French side Lorient.
Trevoh, who is still eligible to represent Sierra Leone last season played on loan at Huddersfield after Ipswich Town spell
An England Under-21 international, Chalobah has yet to play a competitive first-team game for Chelsea, although he was on the bench for the 2018 FA Cup final.
“FC Lorient is pleased to announce today the arrival in the form of a one-season loan without an option to buy Trevoh Chalobah (21 years old, 1m90), the young defensive midfielder of Chelsea,” the club announced on their website.
Christophe Pelissier, FC Lorient coach, is happy to see Trevoh join his squad: “Trevoh is a young player already with great experience, having played two full seasons in the Championship. He has thus forged a character allowing him to play at the highest level and to fight for maintenance. A versatile player, since he can also play in central defense, Trevoh has an athletic profile that complements our squad ”.
“I am delighted to join FC Lorient today. The prospect of evolving at the highest French level and discovering a new culture convinced me. The FCL is a recognized club and the challenge proposed by the leaders of Lorient is attractive. I can’t wait to start this new adventure in my new colors.” Trevoh told club’s site.
The Midfielder cum defender played made 36 Championship appearances for Huddersfield last season.

Icelandic side Breidablik will travel to Norway to kick start their European campaign in the first leg knockout qualifying round against Rosenborg BK at the Lerkendal Stadium on Thursday 27th August.
Sierra Leone attacking winger Kwame Quee, who has been active with his Icelandic top-tier will be hoping to play his first European competition in Trondheim, Norway.
Due to the coronavirus, the qualifying rounds are decided over one match.
Quee, 24, was subbed on in their 4-2 victory against Víkingur Reykjavík 87th minutes replacing Alexander Helgi Sigurdarson making his tenth appearances on Sunday.
The two sides met in 2011 competition with the Norwegian won 5-2 on aggregate.
Last season the Norwegian side ended first from bottom in the group stage of the competition.
Breidablik, on the other hand, was eliminated by Liechtenstein side FC Vaduz 2-1 over two legs in the first round qualifiers.
However, the Norwegian side has played more UEFA matches than any other Norwegian team after winning a record 26 leagues titles, twelve Norwegian Football Cup.
The first qualifying round consists of 94 teams, with the winners advancing to the second qualifying round.
The next rounds are played on September 17, September 24 and October 1.

Southampton new acquisition, Ghanaian centre-back Mohammed Salisu says he was pleased with the fans warmed welcome.
The 21-year-old joined the Hampshire-based outfit from Real Valladolid for a fee of £10.9m on a four-year deal.
The highly-rated young defender told the club’s website that he was pleased with the clamour among fans after news of his arrival.
“I am very happy the fans are welcoming me so warmly and that they are happy with me.”
“It is a very good feeling to be a Southampton player. I am very happy to be part of the club, and I am looking forward to starting here.”
Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl said: “This is an important signing for us. Mohammed is a player who fits our profile well.”
Salisu featured twice in Real Valladolid ’s Copa del Rey campaign in the 2018/19 season before becoming a regular in the 2019/20 campaign, making 32 appearances across all competitions, helping them to a notable improvement in their defensive record and also to a respectable 13th-placed finish.

Kickers Offenbach striker Abubakarr Kargbo has suffered injury setback during preseason training in Opalenica, Poland.
The club’s new acquisition will be out with a knee ligament.
Kargbo, 27, says he was frustrated with the damage after been ruled for at least the first half of the new season.
“I am disappointed, frustrated, but its football. I’ll have to wait for the medical experts to confirm the length of time I’ll be out.”
“I do not want to overstressed how much I am disappointed, but it football anything can happen anytime,” the former German U19 striker reiterated to FSL News.
The Regionalliga side played to a 1-1 draw Polish runner-up Lech Posen in the training camp with the absence of their Sierra Leone-born Kargbo on Friday.
He scored eleven goals for the Berliner AK (Regionalliga Nordost) in 16 games last season.
Kargbo will not be part of the Kickers Offenbach side that will kick start the 2020 campaign against Bahlinger Sportclub on the 5 of September at home.
