- Sierra Leone international striker Mustapha Bundu has expressed his delight after joining Danish side Copenhagen on loan from Belgium outfit Anderlecht.
“Copenhagen have agreed on a loan deal with RSC Anderlecht for Mustapha Bundu that will run until the summer of 2021, after which the club has the option to make the transfer permanent,” the club said on their website.
“I am happy and proud that FCK have wanted me,” he told the club’s website.
“It is a big club, not just in Denmark, but also internationally. I look forward to playing in Parken, and doing what I can so that the club reaches its great ambitions.”
“It’s no secret that it has not gone as I had hoped at Anderlecht, but I would rather use my energy and my focus on looking forward to getting started at FCK than getting upset about it.
“I know many of my new teammates, and of course I know Jens Stage and Rubén Sellés, just as I know the league well. I know that there are high expectations for FCK, and I also hope that I can meet them and then we will see if I stay here longer than this summer.”
Bundu scored 21 goals 25 assists in 109 appearances during his time with former Danish club AGF Aarhus in four seasons.

Anderlecht striker, Mustapha Bundu, has been linked with a return to Denmark to join Danish Superliga side FC Copenhagen on loan until the end of the season.
Negotiation ongoing; reports from Belgium confirmed that the 23-year-old, who arrived last summer for 2.8 million euros, has fallen down the pecking order as playing time increasingly limited.
In nine appearances for the Purple and White, he has struggled to impress manager Vincent Kompany.
He will be eager to get his football back on track at Copenhagen.
Bundu has not scored or assist since his move. However, he scored 21 goals 25 assists in 109 appearances for former Danish club AGF Aarhus in four seasons.

As a result, Guinea and Zambia both top of the group respectively with four points apiece while Tanzania keeps hopes alive of reaching the next stage of the competition if they beat Guinea.
Namibia pointless after two games will be leaving the competition because they cannot finish at least second in the group even if they win their final match against Zambia on Wednesday.
Elsewhere, group leaders Guinea and Zambia played to a 1-1 draw after a late Spencer Sautu goal cancel out Syli National midfielder Victor Kantabaduno opener.
