The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), a few hours ago, confirmed that arranged friendly test to face the Chipolopolo of Zambia on Monday, March 22, has been cancelled due to travel restrictions.
In another development, Football Sierra Leone sources have confirmed that some key players could be out of Leone Stars back to back qualifiers later this month.
Experienced right-back Mustapha Dumbuya who was part was part of the Sierra Leone side that impressively rallied a 4-4 draw against Nigeria, and goalless in Freetown set to miss out on coach Keister’s squad.
Another vital figure doubtful due to a recent injury is Randers FC top scorer Alhaji Kamara, who scored a brace against Nigeria. Kamara has missed the last couple of game for his Danish top-tier side.

Swedish Superettan side Gais are being linked with a move for IFK Värnamo offensive player Michael Kargbo.
Goteborgs-Posten reported that the Mackerels are keen to secure the service of the Sierra Leonean attacker, who was instrumental last season Värnamo.

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) announced the March 22nd friendly test date expected to be played in Lusaka a few days ago.
Football Association of Zambia FAZ says the two sides will square off on Monday at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka at 21:00 hours, a dress rehearsal for Thursday’s clash with Algeria at the same venue.
If everything goes according to plan, the test work will kick off at 9 pm at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
Sierra Leone will make a stopover in Lusaka on their way to Lesotho as part of their groundwork ahead of their Group L African Cup of Nations matchday five at the Setsoto Stadium in Lesotho on March 27.
With the COVID-19 making it hard to organize international friendly matches, FAZ says they welcomed the Leone Stars’ gesture to play Zambia.
Chipolopolo, on the other hand, preparing to face Algeria a few days later.
The Sierra Leone national team squad is expected to be announced in the next 48 hours.

Sierra Leone-born Alhaji Sesay face a 10-year jail time after subjected two women to serious sexual assaults in a night club toilets, a Bristol Crown Court heard, but he denied any wrongdoing.
Sesay’s professional career has been ruined as Judge Michael Cullum jailed him for ten years on Wednesday.
The young keeper was an unused substitute in the Sierra Leone side during the 1-0 defeat in Ethiopia during the 2018 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Sesay, 22, was convicted of one count of rape and two of attempted rape against two separate women following a three week trial at Bristol Crown Court and was found guilty.
He was charged in connection with the offence in Bristol and London in August 2020. After being arrested and released under police investigation, he targeted a second woman in the female toilet of a nightclub in London, Football Sierra Leone understands.
At the sentencing hearing today, HHJ Cullum told Sesay he was a rapist and a sexual predator who used “a veneer of charm and flirtatious behaviour” to put himself close to women who he perceived to be targeting. He said his actions had significantly affected both victims, with one of them suffering severe psychological harm.
Sesay was arrested on 11 July 2019 following an incident at Mbargo nightclub, on The Triangle, Bristol, after he trapped a woman in a toilet cubicle and attempted to rape her.
Sesay was born in Sierra Leone and started playing with a local club FC Kallon before moving to Europe.

- Sierra Leone will travel to face Group L bottom side Likuena of Lesotho at Setsoto Stadium in a week time, but a game in one of the countries in the UK’s red list is a concern.
Queens Park Rangers defender, Osman Kakay, has been a key player in coach Keister’s squad in recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches.
All arrivals into the UK from outside the red-listed countries must quarantine for 10 days, a requirement that will rule Kakay from making an immediate return to his Championship side.
The right-back played the full throttle of the 1-1 first leg opener in Freetown in November 2019.
Lesotho is one of the Southern African nations, on the UK’s red list that is considered a high risk of contracting the disease.
If you have been in or through any of the countries listed below in the previous 10 days, you will be refused entry to the UK jurisdiction about the coronavirus pandemic.
However, it is still possible for Kakay who has won five capped with Sierra Leone to be included in the Benin final qualifier in Freetown later this month
The former Partick Thistle defender starts for Queens Park Rangers in Saturday’s defeat against Huddersfield.
Meanwhile, coach Keister is yet to announce his final squad for matches against Lesotho and Benin later this month.
