Christian Moses scored on his debut for IFK Värnamo in their 2-0 win over Oster IF on Saturday.
Värnamo’s new acquisition opened his account in the 48th minute of his Swedish Superettan debut for his new side.
The Sierra Leone international, who joined Swedish second-tier on a one-half year deal from Linköping Södra a few days ago, has started well in front of the home fans.
Joel Craig Stevens completed the win in the 90th minute for the home team.
Since Augustus 2020 with Linköping, Moses has scored eight goals in twelve games with three assists.
Moses, 27, who won Viborg FF 2018 goal of the season, has started his new adventure in Sweden on a good footing.
He made his debut for Sierra Leone on 6 September 2015 in a 0–0 draw with Ivory Coast and was in the Leone Stars side in the 0-0 draw with Lesotho during the just concluded African Cup of Nations qualifier in the race to Cameroon.

- The Real Balompédica Linense (First RFEF) opened their preseason on Friday with a 4-2 to AFC Bournemouth defeat at the Marbella Football Center facilities.
Jaidon Anthony opened the scoring for the English Championship side after a well-taken opener in the 16 minutes before the Spanish side Linense levelled with ten minutes of the first half when Alusine Konoma struck with power from 16 yards.
Former Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke regained the lead substitute, Kyle Taylor, netting a well-taken third for Bournemouth.
The visitors’ Captain Lloyd Kelly conceded a penalty which Luis Alcalde confidently placed into the corner for Linense.
Taylor was on the scoresheet for a second time when he converted from Ben Greenwood’s centre, a goal to finish off the scoring in a lively pre-season opener in Spain.
Alusine, 20, on loan from Marampa FC, was part of the East End Lions 2019 Sierra Leone Premier champion winning team.
Twin brothers Alhassan and Alusine Koroma have signed a contract extension with Spanish club Real Balompédica Linense until 2024.
Alusine Koroma made his Tercera winning debut with Real Balompédica Linense B side at the Municipal Stadium in a 2-0 triumph over CD Alcalá Del Valle in their away contest on 14th February.

- Sierra Leone international Sullay Kaikai is the Wycombe Wanders third summer signing.
- Kaikai, 25, who made his Sierra Leone debut in the final African Cup of Nations decided against Benin, has signed with the Chairboys on a two-year deal.
- He was pivotal in Blackpool promotion to the Championship.
Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: “Sullay is a fantastic talent, the exact type of player who will get fans off their seats.
“He’s always impressed me when I’ve seen him play, and his experience with Blackpool last year, where he was a regular in a promotion-winning team, makes him an ideal character to bring into our squad.”
Kaikai started his career as a 15-year-old with Palace and spent nine years with the Eagles between 2010 and 2019, where he played 11 first-team matches, scoring once.
Sullay Kaikai moved to Blackpool on a free transfer from the Dutch side NAC Breda in the summer of 2019.
The exciting winger started his career with Crystal Palace, where he made 11 appearances for the first team and won the club’s Young Player of the Year award.
While at Selhurst Park, he spent time out on loan in The EFL and had very successful stints with Shrewsbury Town and Brentford.

Trevoh Chalobah has been a transfer target for both West Bromwich Albion and newly-promoted Premier side Brentford.
The Sierra Leonean-born versatile player is currently with Chelsea’s squad for preseason training.
Trevoh, 22, who last season play with the French top division FC Lorient will be hoping to impress boss Thomas Tuchel for a place with the European Champions.
But latest reports indicating another move away from Chelsea as WestBrom faced stiff competition from the Premier League side for his signature.
The Baggies see the versatile midfielder as a potential summer addition, but Brentford hoping that their Premier League status will help them pip the Baggies in the chase.
FC Lorient, who had him on loan last season, now want to bring him back.

Last season due to cruciate ligament damage during a training session in August 2020, Kargbo only played twice for Kickers Offenbach with a goal to his account.
Kargbo, 28, is a Sierra Leonean-born but was raised in Germany, where he played for the youth U15, U17, and U19 sides.
In his first spell with Berliner, the striker was used 57 times and scored 30 goals in addition to nine assists.

- SC Cambuur creative winger Issa Kallon is relishing the prospect of representing Sierra Leone in the biggest stage of African football.
- Kallon, 25, is the son of former International Issa Kargbo, commonly known as Pekin Pele.
- The winner of the Dutch Eerste divisie, the second-highest tier in the Netherlands football system and U-21 Eredisive, has said it will be an honour to follow in his dad’s footsteps.
Kallon confirmed the news to join the Leone Stars after the Sierra Leone Football Association cited him as coach John Keister new inclusion.
“Yes, I will be joining the Sierra Leone national team if selected. I am expecting to get my first call up in the next International duty,” he told FSL UK.
The SLFA says head coach John Keister is interested in offering young stars a chance to fulfil their dream of playing for their country, starting with Leone stars friendly matches in the FIFA international window.
Expressing his delight, he added, “It’s will be an honour to follow in my dad’s footsteps in representing Sierra Leone.”
Born in the Netherlands, Kallon last season played a pivotal role in Cambuur promotion to the Dutch top tier.
In 34 appearances, he scored twelve goals, making four assists. He has represented the Netherlands U21, U19, Netherlands U17, Netherlands U16, and Netherlands U15.
Ahead of the Eredivisie, Kallon is excited to play against defending champions Ajax, runners-up AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord. “It’s a good level to compete with the best in Holland. I’m fully ready.”
