Sierra Leone international Alfred Sankoh has signed for Saudi Arabian club Al-Jabalain FC on a one year contract.
The 29-year-old defensive midfielder last played in Turkey for Denizlispor the club he departed in December 2017.
The terms and condition are undisclosed, but the switch is official Al-Jabalain FC posted on Twitter that ‘The club’s management have agreed on a deal with the Sierra Leonean International.’
He now joins a list of Sierra Leone natives that have signed for Saudi Arabian clubs.
They include former Leone Stars captain John Sama, David Simbo, former Leone Stars skipper Mohamed Kallon who won the Asia Champions League with Al-Ittihad in 2005 and Alhaji Kamara.

The Sierra Leone winger Kwame Quee (pictured) scored another important goal on Thursday helping his Icelandic side UMF Vikingur beat KF Fram 2-1.
Quee, 22, opened the scoring in the 19th minute before Kristinn Magnus Peturssson doubles their lead 18 minute later.
The attacking midfielder, who was also on target, last week Thursday, July 5th away to Njardvik, has now scored four goals in his last five matches.
Kamara’s FC Sheriff suffers Champions League defeat
Alhaji Kamara’s FC Sheriff Tiraspol suffered a 2-1 defeat in Georgia to Torpedo Kutaisi in the UEFA Champions League’s preliminary round at the Givi Kiladze Stadium.
The Sierra Leone striker and the Divizia league top scorer was unable to save his side from defeat but still can send them through the next stage if he can replicate his goal form next Wednesday in Moldova.
The Moldovan champion opened the scoring in the 14th minute from Ziguy Badibanga, but the hosts levelled things up through Ghiorghi Kimadze before Ghiorghi Kuhianidze sealed the win in the 64th minute.
However, Kamara and his FC Sheriff side could make amends in the return leg when they host the Georgian side on Wednesday, July 18, in Tiraspol.
The aggregate winner will go up against Macedonia champions Shkëndija (MKD) or Welsh Premier League side The New Saints in Second qualifying round between 24/25 July & 31 July/1 August.
MLS: Kamara’s Whitecaps slip to another defeat
Kei Kamara was again in action last night as D.C. United down Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 thanks to a brace from midfielder Paul Arriola.
Y. Asad opened the scoring for hosts in the opening 28th minute with a long-distance shot beating the Whitecaps keeper into the top-right corner of the Vancouver net.
D.C. United designated player and former Manchester United goal poacher Wayne Rooney rocked Audi Field when he subbed on in the second half.
The former English Premier League star seamlessly transformed Major League Soccer’s last-place team into an offensive power and grabbed a late-match assist on Arriola’s second goal in the 80th minute.
Alphonso Davies scored the Caps consolation goal to spoiled D.C. United’s clean sheet.
However, Kamara, who scored two goals for Vancouver Whitecaps in their 3-2 win over Chicago Fire last Saturday night, has accounted for eight goals in 14 appearances this campaign.
Kamara’s Whitecaps will continue on the road on Wednesday, July 18 when they kick off Canadian Championship play with a semi-final first leg against Montreal Impact at Stade Saputo.

Three goals within eight minutes gave Häcken a dream start away from home against Liepāja in the first qualifying round tie in Latvia.
The victory means that Alhassan Crespo Kamara side in pole position to reach the next stage of the competition with an excellent starting position for the return match at Bravida Arena next Thursday.
Goals from Daleho Irandust 74′, Brazilian Paulinho Guerreiro 77′ and Swedish attacker Mervan Çelik in the 82′ minutes were enough as the visitors outshined their host on Thursday night Europa League qualifier.
It was a great 3-0 victory for the Swedish side in a rainy Latvia. They now one step away to face last season’s sixth-best team in Germany RB Leipzig in the next phase.
The German side will host the aggregate winner in the first leg of the second qualifying round on July 26 and the second leg slated for 2 August.

Sierra Leone striker Mohamed Buya Turay scored a brace for his Swedish top-tier side Dalkurd FF in their 3-0 win over IF Brommapojkarnaon on Saturday.
Buya is now the joint second leading goal scorer behind Djurgårdens IF forward Tino Kadewere with seven goals of the season.
Allsvenskan returns with no less than seven matches this weekend to kick starts the second half of the league.
Turay, who was injured in May, opened the scoring in the 3rd minute to give his side a 1-0 lead.
He completed his brace in the 35th minute to take the scores to 3-0 after Ferhad Ayaz have netted Dalkurd’s second goal in the 28th.
It was an important win for the newly Allsvenskan side, who have only managed two wins from their last twelve matches.
Dalkurd still second from bottom and they’ll take on Trelleborgs FF next Saturday, July 14.
Kamara turns goal machine in Moldova
The striker has been on the scoresheet against Sfîntul, Iskra, Zimbru, and Zaria in all competition in Moldova.
The in-form striker with an unquenchable thirst for goals, Kamara is in the middle of a hot run of form.
The top scorer in the Moldovan top-flight has notched seven goals in Sheriff’s last five matches.
The Moldovan champions FC Sherrif will take on Kutaisi-based club FC Torpedo of Georgia on July 10 next Tuesday in the first qualifying round of this year’s Uefa Champions League at the Givi Kiladze Stadium.
Kwame Quee scores to rescue a point for UMF Víkingur in Iceland
Attacking midfielder Kwame Quee was on target for his Icelandic side UMF Vikingur on Thursday away Njardvik.
Víkingur Ólafsvík, the guest at Njardvik, took the lead from a Quee goal in the 34th minutes but his goal was not enough as the host team fought back to level the scoreline 1-1 in the 41st minute.
The goal was Quee’s third of the season in as many games played.
They are third in the Icelandic second-tier table three points adrift from league leaders ÍA Akranes.
England: Sullay Kaikai happy with Palace return
Crystal Palace youth product Sullay Kaikai has indicated his delight after returning to his parent club Crystal Palace following his loan spell at Charlton Athletic.
Kaikai, was out on loan in January 2018, following four appearances for Palace in the first half of last the season.
He posted on twitter ‘Back to business. Great to be back @CPFC?.’
Disappointingly, the Sierra Leone native, who made over 12 appearances for the Addicks failed to score in any.

Mustapha Bundu targeting double figures for AGF Aarhus
AGF Aarhus and Sierra Leone youngster Mustapha Bundu has set himself a target ahead of the new Danish Superliga 2018 – 2019 season.
Bundu, 21, is aiming to score over ten goals in his second full season after scoring six goals last season in all competitions.
“I will like to get double figures this coming season,” he said. “And probably get my team to a higher and better position in the league.”
Bundu, whose contract up until summer 2021, has challenged himself.
“I would love to score 10-plus goals and I think I am capable,” the striker told Football Sierra Leone.
Aarhus GF kick-starts their season next weekend July 14 away to FC Champions Midtjylland.

Kei Kamara scored two goals to ensure Vancouver Whitecaps’ beat Chicago Fire 3-2 on Saturday night.
Kamara, 33, has hit the ground running with eight goals of the season, and was voted the MLS Budweiser Man of the Match.
He also surpassed Dwayne De Rosario as the seventh all-time leading goal scorer in Major League Soccer regular season.
The Sierra Leone native opened the scoring for the hosts in the 28th minute when he got on the end of a loose ball in the box and poked it in with his right foot.
The visitors equalized in the 42nd minute when Kevin Ellis received a throw-in from Dax McCarty on the right, deep in the Whitecaps’ half.
Ellis fought off his defender and drove a low cross to Nikolić in front of goal. With the inside of his right foot, Nikolić calmly redirected the ball into goal to pull Chicago level.
Jordon Mutch doubles the host lead with his first MLS marker for the Whitecaps.
Kamara put the Whitecaps ahead 3-1 in the 72nd minute with his second goal from a close range, converting an Alphonso Davies pass from the left flank.
Tony Tchani in the 81st minute scored the Chicago Fire’s second of the day but was too late to rescue at least a draw for his side.
Kamara and Whitecaps begin a busy period of fixtures when they travel to Washington to take on D.C. United next Saturday.

Bundu has been impressive since joining the club and was rewarded a long-term deal.
In AGF’s away defeat to Brondby IF, he made his Danish Superliga debut as a substitute on 23 October 2016. He came on the pitch in the 78th minute, replacing Martin Spelmann.
The former Hereford FC made 20 league appearances last season for the Danish outfit.
