Ex-Jupiler Pro League top scorer and former Sierra Leone International Paul Augustine Kpaka has bagged his UEFA A coaching license in Belgium.
The former Germinal Beerschot attacker has been working to achieve this requirement since 2021 with the Royal Belgian Football Federation.
Kpaka, who came third during the Ebony Boot award after he recorded 28 goals in all competitions during the 2001/02 season for K. Beerschot V A, is ready for a coaching adventure.
“Challenges are meant to be confronted. And overcoming them makes the effort worthwhile. It’s been two years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Another milestone reached,” Kpaka proudly noted.
He added, “I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have supported me throughout this journey. Your unwavering support, guidance, encouragement, and inspiration have played a vital role in achieving this milestone.”
During his playing days, Kpaka, in his first season in Belgium, was the top scorer in the Jupiler League, hitting 28 league goals in the 2002–03 campaign.
He came third at the Ebony Shoe Award, an award given to the top African footballer in Belgium before he signed for fellow Belgian club Genk the following season.
