Former Leicester City defender and Sierra Leone international Alie Sesay has signed for Swedish Superettan outfit.
Swedish club IF Frej Täby have completed the signing of Former Leicester City defender and Sierra Leone international Alie Sesay.
The 23-year-old who joined the Bees from Leicester City last January 15, 2016, on an 18-month contract departed English League Two outfit on a mutual consent a few weeks ago.
“We have studied Alie in many games and we believe that he has a style of play that fits very well into Frey’s football,” said club manager Bartosz Grzelak.
“He is aggressive and fast in his defending and offensively, he is skilled with the ball.
“His style of play suits probably better than in the Superettan League 2, you can say so.”
The Sierra Leone international signed his first professional contract 15 March 2013 with Leicester City and was sent to Colchester United in 2014 on loan deal.
He later signed a one-month loan deal with Cambridge United in October 2015 before joining Barnet.

CAF Champions League 2017 – 18 February 2017 Kick-off 19:30 Complex Sportif Moulay Al Hassan, Rabat (MAR)
The referees to officiate the second leg CAF Champion League preliminary tie between FUS Rabat and FC Johansen are all from the Mediterranean coast of Algeria.
Center man Lahlou Benbraham, who will handle the tie in Rabat has only been a full FIFA international referee in 2016.
Respectively, the first, second assistant referees and the fourth official Bouabdallah Omari, Mohammed Serradji and Redouane Necib are all from North Africa.
The all-important return leg is expected to be played at the Sportif Moulay al-Hassan complex, in Rabat.
Both teams can still progress but the Moroccans with a massive home advantage. The 2017 CAF Champions League debutants (FC Johansen) who failed to held on to an important lead at home now face an uphill task in Rabat.
FUS Rabat held hosts Johansen to a 1 all draw in Freetown. Abdul Bangura headed home to put the hosts ahead before Ahmed Jahouh excellent free kick leveled things up for the visitors.
Most likely the winner over two legs will face Libyan outfit Al Ahly Tripoli who are heading into their second leg tie with a massive advantage.
Al Ahly thrashed Ghanaian champions Wa All Stars 3-1 at the Tamale Sports Stadium in Ghana in their first preliminary tie.

RSLAF and Wikki Tourists players at the Freetown National Stadium on Sunday
The Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces FC (RSLAF) head coach Alimamy Bangura aka coach Allo pictured has refused to write off Nigerian top flight side Wiki Tourists.
Bangura has issued a warning against complacency ahead of next week’s return tie in the CAF Confederation Cup, insisting that the tie is not over yet despite his side’s 2-0 comfortable victory in the first leg preliminary match at the Siaka Steven Stadium, in Freetown on Sunday.
The Bauchi Elephants who are debutants in the competition will be looking to overturn the deficit when they host RSLAF at the Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi next Sunday.
The calmly spoken technician says it will be tough in Nigeria and the tie is not over yet but hopefully, they can secure qualification.
“Firstly I want to say thanks to Allah and I’m really happy with the victory, Coach Bangura told Footballsierraleone.net.
He added: “I think is not over yet, we are now preparing for the second leg. In Nigeria is going to be tough, and for now, I have nothing to say until the end of next week’s tie.
“Hopefully we can go through to the next stage by the grace of Allah, but it is only half the job done.”
The winner will face Tunisian Omnisport outfit – Club Africain in the next round of the competition.

Nigerian top flight side Wiki Tourists in the first leg preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup at the Sierra Steven Stadium, Freetown on Sunday.
RSLAF 2-0 Wikki Tourists of Nigeria
The Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces FC (RSLAF) cruised to a 2-0 home win against Nigerian top flight side Wikki Tourists at the Siaka Steven Stadium, on Sunday.
Wikki Tourist must make up a two-goal deficit to stay in the CAF Confederation Cup after Sam Kabba and Ibrahim Sillah ensures the Sierra Leone 2017 CAF Confederation Cup representative won comfortably in the first leg preliminary in Freetown.
The home side was spot on from the start as they pushed for the opener Sam Kabba netted after 17 minutes and Ibrahim Sillah struck a second before half-time.
Wikki Tourists fought hard for a consolation but met a stiff resistant from the home side.
RSLAF put in a great performance and they were robust as they kept a clean sheet with a two goals advantage into the second leg next weekend.
The second fixture is slated for next week at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in the City of Bauchi.

CAF Champion League: FC Johansen starting line-up
Hosts Johansen threw away an opportunity to record their first CAF Champion League home victory against Moroccan top flight side FUS Rabat, as they drew 1-1 in the first leg tie played at the Siaka Steven Stadium on Saturday.
The 2017 CAF Champions League debutants (FC Johansen) failed to hold on to an important lead in front of their home fans.
The kick-off witnessed no clear cut chances from either side in the early exchanges.
And after a dreadful first 45 minutes, Johansen took the lead immediately after the start of the second half.
The visitors were slightly dominant in the first half before Abdul Bangura headed home to give the home side the much-needed opener in the 50th minutes.
After the opener, the hosts was more pragmatic and never threaten to add to their tally against the Moroccans.
The Rabat-based club tried to rally for the equalizer few minutes after Johansen’s goal, but their efforts were derailed following some superb performances from the host defense.
However, FUS Rabat defender Mohamed Nahiri levels the scoreline at the Siaka Steven Stadium in the 75th min to give his side a massive away goal going into the return fixture at home.
At some points during the match, John Keister’s men showed glimpses of the threat they still possess with George Mata and Nyakeh Alpha causing some troubles to Rabat’s back four.
Many Johansen fans will be disappointed not to take a victory advantage into next week’s return leg.
The return fixture will be played at the Stade de FUS; in Rabat with the winner over two legs will play either side – the Ghanaian champions Wa All Stars or the Libyan outfit Al Ahly Tripoli in March.
