Former FC Riga midfielder, John Kamara says he is looking forward to making his FK Kaisar Kyzylorda debut on Tuesday, March 8 in the Kazakhstan Premier League opener.
The 28-year-old signed for the newly promoted Kazakhstan top flight side on a one-year deal and has been training with the club in the past few weeks getting acquainted with his new environment but now it’s time to take to the field to earn his much-awaited debut.

The Sierra Leone international is expected to make his debut for FC Kaisar next Tuesday as they get ready to face FK Okzhetpes Kokshetau in front of their home fans.
“I’m very excited and I can’t wait to get going, he said. “It’s what we train for. Stepping out the pitch and get to show what I can give to the fans,” Kamara told footballsierraleone.net.
He added: “Everything we do out on the training pitch is for that moment. I’m really looking forward to playing my first match with FC Kaisar.”
Kamara was rated as one the most effective player in Latvia last season, where he made over 27 appearances in all competitions both in defence and midfield.

Ivorian International striker Wilfried Bony has grown disillusioned with life at his current club Stoke City.
The 28-year-old Ivorian joined the club on loan from Manchester City in August, says his exclusion from the team is a “crazy situation”.
Bony, who turned down a move to China in the winter transfer window, has scored just twice in 11 games and has not played since 27 December.
His contract allowed him to be sold to Chinese Super League clubs in January, but he chooses to stay at Stoke.
“When you hear everything is fine and you don’t play, it’s crazy,” he said.
The Ivory Coast international confirmed his frustration when speaking to the BBC’s World Football programme: “It is more than difficult. This is something that I want to know why the coach told me I’m training very well and my attitude is very good. It doesn’t make sense. It’s painful.”
Bony, who joined City from Swansea £28m in January 2015, said he was not tempted by the money on offer in China.
He added: “My agent told me there was an offer but I refused to go because my plan is to stay in the UK to show more – to show that I’m not at the end.”
Bony’s first international match was against Burundi in a 1–0 away victory, where he came on as a substitute in the 80th minutes for Gervinho in Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has denied president Isha Johansen has given an endorsement to (CAF) president Issa Hayatou’s challenger Ahmad Ahmad for the upcoming continental elections this month.
Hayatou in photo faces perhaps the biggest challenge in three-decade reign as CAF president. The next Confederation of African Football president will be limited to three terms in office.
With barely 15 days to go for the decider, Madagascar’s football boss, Ahmad Ahmad, will be challenging the longest-serving Hayatou for the CAF presidency at the 39th Ordinary General Assembly, at which the election will take place on March 16 in Ethiopia
On Tuesday, February 28, 2017, Nigerian’s Tony Ubani of the Vanguard newspaper reported that Sierra Leone have joined the likes of Council of Southern African Football Associations (COSAFA), Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal and the Gambia to openly support the 57-year-old man.
“As you know the whole of COSAFA, which has 15 members are for Ahmad. Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, the Gambia, Sierra Leone are openly supporting the man from Antananarivo. Also, the closeness of FIFA President, Gianni Infantino and Secretary General, Fatma Samba Diouf Samoura to the “New Generation” who wants to topple the “Old” order would be another blow to the Hayatou camp,” the Nigeria Vanguard newspaper reported.
However, the Sierra Leone Football Association Director of Competition who also doubles as the acting on communication officer, Sorie Ibrahim Sesay has dismissed the said report as baseless and misleading adding that the SLFA, Madam Isha Johansen is yet to make an official statement on the said elections.
“The president of the FA has not made any statement on that, the report is completely misleading, we all know Amaju Pinnick (Nigeria Football Federation) is backing Ahmad but that does not imply the SLFA boss is backing him, she has not made any statement on that as she is keeping her cards close to her chest,” Sesay said.
A total of 54 countries in CAF will cast their vote in the March elections and any candidates who poll 28 votes automatically becomes the winner of the election and Ahmad Ahmad is said to have secured 21 member countries in his fold with more others weighing their options.
North Africans have not indicated where their votes would go but feelers show that Ahmad would divide their votes because of a recent face-off with the 71-year-old Hayatou who became President of CAF in Casablanca, Morocco in 1988.
Ahmad is a member of the CAF Executive Committee and he is currently in his third term in office as head of Madagascar’s FA.

Victor Moses has today signed a new contract with the Blues. The Nigerian winger has been rewarded for becoming one of the unlikely success stories of the season with a new contract worth £75,000-a-week.
The 26-year-old has established himself as a regular in the side this season, playing an integral role in our pursuit of silverware under Antonio Conte.
Upon signing the two-year extension to his deal, which will now run until 2021, the Nigerian international said: “I’m delighted to be here for another few years now and to sign a new deal. Now it’s time to concentrate on the team and keep working hard to make sure we win games and try to win the Premier League this season.
“We’re having a great season, I’m enjoying my football and we have a good manager here that has given every single one of us confidence. I just want to keep on enjoying it and working hard for the team.”
Technical director Michael Emenalo added: ‘We are extremely pleased Victor has chosen to extend his contract with us. He is enjoying an excellent season and, under Antonio’s leadership, has proved to be an important member of the squad.
‘This new contract is a testament to Victor’s hard work and dedication to succeed at Chelsea and we believe he will be a big part of our future success.’
In total, Moses has made 72 appearances for the Blues, 28 coming so far this season, scoring 14 goals.

Seattle Sounders on loan striker Victor Mansaray has said he will be available to don the green, white and blue jersey of Sierra Leone if called upon.
Mansaray, who has made three MLS appearances for Sounders, told Football Sierra Leone on Saturday he will relish the opportunity to represent Sierra Leone.
“I am doing very well here in the US, I recently joined FC Cincinnati on loan until the end of 2017 campaign,” Mansaray stated. “I am looking forward to a good start in the league.
When asked about representing Sierra Leone, he said: “I will relish any opportunity to represent Sierra Leone if called upon and I believe I will be able to prove myself if given the opportunity,” He told footballsierraleone.net via WhatsApp from his US base.
“I’m only 20 and I’ve made up my mind to come back home and play if called upon, I’ve been making progress every year, and I have come a long way since joining the Sounders academy midway through the 2012–2013 seasons.
“In November 2014, I was the fourth Seattle home-grown player in the club’s history at age 17 to joined the first team.”
The 5 ft 11 in forward confirmed he was born and raised in western area Tengbeh town in Freetown.
In his early teens, Mansaray made 20 appearances for the U-16’s scoring 11 goals and followed it up the following season with a team-leading 18 goals in 24 games.
International
Mansaray is very popular in the United States of America junior ranks, he was selected to the U.S. under-18 national team in August 2014 and has played two games in the friendly tournament hosted by the Czech Republic, against Hungary and Ukraine.
In December 2014, Mansaray received his third and fourth caps in two games against the Germany under-18 national team.
He was recently named in the US-20 squad for the Dallas Cup.
