Abu Bakarr Kargbo made his return from injury in the remaining 20-minute in their 3-0 defeat to SV 07 Elversberg on Saturday, after missing the last eight months with a knee operation.
The 28-year-old, who suffered from cruciate ligament damage during a training session in August 2020, was introduced in the 70th-min to replace Mathias Fetsch.
Kickers Offenbach suffered their first defeat this month away from home. A defeat that has weakened their grip in the race for automatic promotion of the Regionalliga Südwest.
The former German U-19 striker was born in Sierra Leone but raised in Germany, where he played for the youth U15, U17, and U19 sides.
Kargbo scored over 30 goals in 57 appearances over two seasons with Berliner AK 07.

Patrice Motsepe, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has nudged Sierra Leone to bid for the African Cup of Nations.
Speaking during a few hours visit to the country, alongside Fifa president Gianni Infantino and General Secretary Fatma Samoura, Motsepe floated the idea during a courtesy call to the country’s president Julius Maada Bio at the State Lodge.
Motsepe said: “CAF and FIFA are committed to supporting Sierra Leone with the requisite infrastructure to host the African Cup of Nations in the not-too-distant future.”
Sierra Leone has only one internationally recognised stadium that is over four decades old. The Siaka Stevens stadium was built in 1979 with the help of the Chinese government. Other venues across the country. In Bo, Kenema and Makeni have been undergoing rehabilitation in recent years, some through Fifa assistance.
The next Cup of Nations will be hosted in Cameroon, and the subsequent two will be in West Africa in Ivory Coast and Guinea.
If Sierra Leone are to successfully bid for 2027 Afcon, it will be the third country in a row from West Africa to host the continental showpiece.
Hosting the Afcon will be a massive socio-economic boost for a country that was devastated by a decade long bloody civil war which started in March 1991.

CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe has concluded a successful visit to both Liberia and Sierra Leone together with FIFA President, Gianni Infantino.
In Liberia, President Motsepe met country head of state, President George Weah – the only African to win the FIFA World Player of the Year during his playing days together with President of the Liberian Football Association, Mr Mustapha Raji.
During their visit to Monrovia, Liberia, Dr. Motsepe and Mr Infantino announced that Mr Weah will be the first ambassador of the FIFA/CAF Pan African School Football Challenge.
Dr. Motsepe described President Weah as an iconic figure who transformed African football image and put Africa on the global map.
President Weah thanked the FIFA and CAF presidents and promised to do more to improve football in the continent.
In Freetown, Sierra Leone, Motsepe and Mr Infantino met with the country’s head of state, President Julius Maada Bio and also Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Isha Johansen.
President Bio engaged the two football leaders on key issues relating to football development of football in Sierra Leone and possible solutions.
CAF President said: “The visits have been very important for me to discuss with key stakeholders the future of African football. Coming together and working as a united force, we can make progress in African football.”
The CAF President also highlighted the importance of promoting development and education amongst the youth in the continent.
“We want young girls and young boys to take football as a career because you can maintain yourself, make money for yourself and your family. We also want them to study and get the best education,” Dr. Motsepe said.

A late penalty awarded to Bai Bureh Warriors against defending champions East End Lions during Saturday’s match in Port Loko saw the tie ended in chaos.
Video evidence below showed unacceptable sportsmanship displayed in the North West Province of Sierra Leone.
The reigning champions in the hunt for their first win were leading through a Masalaki Bangura goal. However, after a spot-kick was awarded to the host team in the 85th min by referee Rashid Conteh, the tie descended into disorder as fans stormed the pitch.
Images of fans invaded the playing field obstructed the conclusion of the match. The Sierra Leone Premier League Board are yet to make a statement.
A source close to the Board has confirmed disciplinary action will be taken after they examine what leads to this unforeseen situation.
On the same day, Bo Rangers and Central Parade continue with their 100% league form following a back to back Premier League win on Saturday.
Kabba Tucker scored his second of the season in the 87th minute for big spenders Rangers as they rallied to defeat Mount Auroel SLIFA at their Southern Province stadium.
Central Parade, on the other hand, with two men down in the 56th-minutes, won through a Saidu Bangura 75th-min winner assisted by Ibrahim Dixon in the ongoing season as they move up to second on the log.
Elsewhere, FC Kallon played to a barren draw with Old Edwardians at the Siaka Steven Stadium.
The season continues today, with Kamboi Eagles hosting Mighty Blackpool, both teams searching for their first win. Diamond Stars hosting the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces whilst Sierra Leone Police battle FC Johnsen.

Osman Kakay scored his first Championship goal in the 70th-min for QPR as they triumph with a 2-0 victory over Stoke at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.
The visitors took the lead 1-0 in the 17th-min through Charlie Austin, who scored his seventh goal of the season with an emphatic finish.
The visitors withstood some decent pressure from Stoke after the half-time interval with Rabbi Matondo, John Obi Mikel and Jordan Thompson all going close.
But Kakay calmly slotted the ball past Adam Davies from a narrow-angle with 20 minutes to go to wrap up the points.
Sierra Leone right-back scored his first QPR goal in a 3-2 defeat to Plymouth Argyle in their EFL Cup first-round knockout tie back in September 2020.
Saturday’s goal was in second for the club in all competition.
