Koroma scores again as Town ease past Kakay’s QPR

  • Sierra Leone native Josh Koroma was again on target as Huddersfield Town registered a 2-0 win after a much-improved performance at home defeating Osman Kakay’s QPR on Saturday.

  • Huddersfield Town after their last defeat to Cardiff ensure they produced an impressive display to inflict a third successive defeat on a lacklustre Queens Park Rangers.

Josh Koroma, 22, scored his side opener with his fifth of the season after he picked up the ball close to half-way to curled a right-footed effort into the top corner.

He was the provider for the second as his well-timed pass after a lovely, flowing move allowed Harry Toffolo to slot home from close range.

The victory was marred, however, when Huddersfield captain Christopher Schindler appeared to suffer a serious knee injury with 15 minutes left and the Austrian needed oxygen before he was taken from the field.

The Terriers move up three places to 13th in the Championship while QPR drop to 18th, four points above the relegation zone.

Sierra Leone International Osman kakay was an unused substitute at the John Smith’s Stadium.
