Khalifa Jabbie returns to Moldova top tier to join Sfîntul Gheorghe

  • Sierra Leone international midfielder Khalifa Jabbie is back in the Moldovan top flight after signing a two year deal with FC Sfîntul Gheorghe.
  • The 28-year-old last played in Lebanon with Racing Beirut where he impressively made 19 appearances during the 2018 season.

The former Fredrikstad FK midfield enforcer once enjoyed success, winning the title and the Moldovan Cup in 2016, 2017 seasons respectively with FC Sheriff.

Jabbie moved in 2011 from his home club FC Kallon to Europe, joining Norwegian side Fredrikstad FK before making his international debut.

Samadia rescues Liga Leumit point for Hapoel Umm Al Fahm

  • Sierra Leone-born, Emanuela Samadia, rescued a point with his first Hapoel Umm Al Fahm goal against Hapoel-Nir Ramat HaSharon on Friday in round 21 of the Liga Leumit division in Isreal.
  • The talented attacker, who made his debut against H-Rishon Le-Zion in their last match, quickly made his mark in the 35th minute, scoring Al Fahm equaliser after O Shekel had opened the scoring for the visitors in the 13th minutes.

The result means Hapoel Umm Al Fahm remain on 10th.

Samadia, who capped a sensational opening 85th-minute on his debut for his new side on Monday night, will be pleased to open his account.

His side Hapoel Umm Al Fahm are without a win in their last three games.

Samadia, 19, who was on a month trial with Hapoel Tel Aviv, joined Hapoel Umm Al Fahm on a two-year deal in January.

Samadia makes Hapoel Umm al-Fahm debut in goalless draw against Le-Zion

  • Sierra Leone young and talented attacker Emmanual Sahr Samadia made his Hapoel Umm Al Fahm in their goalless draw away to H-Rishon Le-Zion. 
  • The attacker capped a sensational opening 85th-minute on his debut for his new side in the Liga Leumit division in Isreal on Monday night.

Samadia, 19, who was on a month trial with Hapoel Tel Aviv, joined Hapoel Umm Al Fahm on a two-year deal a few weeks ago.

The result means they are presently standing 10th on the Liga Leumit table.

Hapoel Umm Al Fahm hosts H Ramat HaSharon on Friday 12th in their matchday 21. 

He started his career as a 13-year-old boy with Sierra Leone Premier League side FC Kallon, has been handed a new prospect to continue with his development.

The exciting talent was part of the Sierra Leone African Cup of Nations squad as one of the home-based stars in the just concluded double-header against Nigeria.

Kamara’s Keshla see off Kapaz to reach Cup semifinals

Sierra Leone international John Kamara played the full throttle of the match as Keshla eliminated Kapaz 3-0 on aggregate on Sunday, to book Azerbaijan Cup semi-finals spot.

The two-time Azerbaijan title holders defeat their host 2-0 at Ganja city stadium on Sunday.

In the first leg, they won 1-0 last Tuesday with the only goal of the match was scored by Cesar Meza Colli in the 43rd minute.

Kamara is hoping his side can replicate 2018 as they look to revamp their season.

“It will be nice to reach the final, and work towards winning it, but this is football you cannot predict anything just give your best on the pitch,” Kamara optimistic ahead of semis.

Everyone at the club will love to win it this year. However, so does the other tough sides in the competition the like of Qarabag, Sumgayit, Zire and Neftçi.”

Mustapha Bundu makes winning Copenhagen debut

  • Sierra Leone International Mustapha Bundu made his first FC Copenhagen appearance as a substitute in their win over AaB at the Aalborg Portland Park on Wednesday.
 
Rasmus Falk scored the all-important winner in the 79th-minute assisted by Jonas Wind as they came from behind twice to win 3-2.
 
Bundu, 23, who subbed on in the 46th minute to replace Pep Biel was impressive on his debut and has received a laudable reception after the game.
 
The win means Copenhagen standing sixth on the 3F Superliga table as travel to Hornes on Sunday.

Attacker Kwame Quee delighted with new Víkingur R deal

Attacking midfielder Kwame Quee has admitted his delight after signing a new one-year contract with Víkingur Reykjavík In Iceland.

 The Sierra Leone International confirmed the news of his new deal with the club through his Instagram account.

“The long wait is over. I finally penned a one year contract with Vikingur Reyjkavik, forever committed to the game I love most,” he posted on his official Instagram account.

Kwame, 24, has had spells with Doutcher United, where he started his career, Sierra Rangers, Papa jack FC before joining FC Johansen in 2009. In Iceland with Víkingur Ólafsvík, Breiðablik and Víkingur Reykjavik.

 He played ten league games with Breiðablik last season before he was sent on loan to Reykjavik, where he featured in six games. 

The former FC Johansen player won the 2019 Icelandic Cup played on 14 September at Laugardalsvöllur with Víkingur Reykjavik while on the first spell at the club on loan.
